EYELID BALM

The Eyelid Balm is a delicate emulsion giving a real relief to irritated, sensitized, itchy eyelids. It soothes and protects by preventing peeling and redness thanks to the transdermic-technologically conceived active ingredients included in the formulation: Biotin and Panthenol counteract skin redness and soothe itching; Ceramides help repair the weakened epidermal barrier; Oenothera biennis oil provides the skin with elasticity and resistance, in addition to promoting an immediate emollient and soothing effect.

The skin is hardly permeable. To penetrate the different cutaneous layers, Labo researchers developed a “transdermic” technology based on the very low molecular weight of the active substances: this is the fundamental condition to guarantee their penetration exclusively within the skin layers. It is precisely thanks to this controlled penetration that the active ingredients are really effective. The percentages reported here above refer to the transdermic penetration of the functional active molecules, in solution, after 24 hours. Transdermic penetration was made possible by the new Labo technology and tested by means of Franz Diffusion Cells.

HOW TO USE

Apply the cream on the upper and/or lower eyelids, after having thoroughly cleansed the skin. Let it penetrate with a very light massage, taking care to avoid direct contact with the eyes.
